Tips from vocal majors
- Be friendly with every single vocal teacher you have because you might have them in the future and they have a huge impact on which electives you want to be placed into in the future
- Always keep your music organized because you will reuse your music every year
- If your teacher tells you to learn your music make sure you don’t slack off and actually learn it because they will assign random tests that are pass or fail
- Practice sight singing a little every night because it will really make a difference as you get through the years
- Try to get yourself known so the teachers know who you are even if you aren’t their student
